Description

Naming

El Dorado® is named after the famed City of Gold with the myth of untold riches and treasures.

Origin Story

In the case of the hop, El Dorado® is “The Tropical Hop,” containing the treasures of high alpha acids and serious tropical fruit and candy flavors.

Bred at CLS Farms and grown on a single acre test yard for several years, 2010 saw the limited release to the brewing public at the Great American Beer Festival. The feedback was great and thus started the hop legend of El Dorado.
